The Young Achievers Programme, is a joint initiative by Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited and the Manipal Academy of BFSI.
This is a learning programme conducted by Manipal Academy as per the requirement of Tata AIG General Insurance through which the candidates are made completely ready for the Sales Job as Relationship Manager, Agency Manager, Business Development Manager, Channel Sales Manager etc.
The curriculum is meticulously designed by Industry Experts from Tata AIG and Manipal Academy with a view to meet the requirements of the dynamic market and to ensure successful and rewarding career for young aspirants.
The Programme offers ‘Post Graduate Diploma in General Insurance or Health Insurance’ based on programme undergone.
This is a programme which offers Triple Benefit:
1. A Job as Manager in most Trusted Brand i.e. Tata AIG General Insurance Company
2. A Professional Training with state of art infrastructure at renowned Academy focussing on required Insurance knowledge, Skill and Attitude, thereby, converting Trainees in to Professionals – a Training which helps life long for one’s career growth.
3. Post Graduate Diploma from most prestigious university, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (called as Manipal University, earlier).
We meticulously prepare the candidates in such a way that, they can develop themselves as Leaders in shortest span of time.
Eligibility
Learner Journey
Course Completion
The candidate successfully completes the 4 months residential training at Manipal Academy of BFSI, Bangalore with learning assessments at regular intervals
Internship and OJT Phase
In the following phase, candidates join Tata AIG for a 2-month internship and get acquainted with company departments, processes and support functions. The training exclusively provides hands-on experience in Customer Management.
On completion of the internship, the candidates proceed to On-The-Job Training for 6 months in selected offices of TATA AIG to practice skills on the job with appropriate mentorship. The candidates are required to complete performance assessments in both phases.
Employee
After completing the 12-month training in three phases, Manipal Academy of Higher Education awards the candidates with a ‘Post Graduate Diploma in General Insurance’ or ‘Post Graduate Diploma in Health Insurance(Based on Tata AIG Requirement and course undergone)’. Thereafter the candidates join TATA AIG as ‘Relationship Manager’ or ‘Channel Sales Manager’ or in other finalized roles.
Selection Process
Assessment
Initial screening happens through, 1. Online Aptitude Test and 2. Personal Interview thereafter.
Interview
The suitability of the candidate is finalized based on performance during the interview
Provisional Offer Letter
Finalized candidates are given a Provisional Employment Letter by Tata AIG.
Batch Joining
Selected candidates on receipt of Provisional Employment Offer can join the next scheduled programme on payment of programme fee. They will be communicated on the Batch commencement date on verification for successful candidates
