Our History

Manipal Academy of BFSI is India’s leading learning solution provider for the BFSI sector. In 2008, Dr Ramdas Pai (Former Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education & Chairman Emeritus of Manipal Education & Medical Group) and ICICI came together to sow the seeds of a new partnership to create ICICI Manipal Academy. The fruits of the association was recognised by the banking industry and led to the creation of the Manipal Academy of BFSI. MABFSI imparts domain-specific skills to aspiring bankers for the evolving requirements of the industry. It is a part of a UNext Learning Pvt. Ltd. is a leading international provider of quality business and marketing solutions in higher education.

With an endeavour to facilitate domain-specific expertise to young professionals, our Academy has collaborated with leading industry experts. With well-designed pedagogy, we provide experiential learning to young banking aspirants. With over 200 ex-bankers as trainers, our case study and simulation-based training ensure professionals are job-ready from day one.

Our programs address learning requirements across functions and levels and the spectrum of banks (public sector, private sector, small, mid and large-sized banks), financial services and insurance organizations.

The Academy has also partnered with over 50 leading banks, insurance and non-banking financial organizations and has trained over 3,50,000 professionals in the industry. With the latest technology and co-created curriculum based on the expected outcome, we create an immersive learning experience. With the help of our course, aspiring bankers can now easily align their competencies with the industry requirements.
