Manipal Academy of BFSI in association with the Chola Group (through Chola Insurance Academy) offers the Chola General Insurance Program- a Postgraduate Diploma Program.
This program has been designed as an initiative to develop future industry leaders. We help aspirants to gain domain expertise and the required skill set for various roles in the field of General Insurance. This is a prestigious Program being run in association with Manipal Academy of BFSI having state of art facilities on campus, to nurture the best of talents. This program has the highest success ratio on all parameters. The objective of this program is to make young insurance professionals career-ready in 12 months.
The curriculum is meticulously designed by Industry Experts from Chola and Manipal Academy with a view to meet the requirements of the dynamic market and to ensure successful and rewarding career for young aspirants.
The Programme offers “Post Graduate Diploma in General Insurance.”
This is a programme which offers Triple Benefit
1. A Job as Assistant Branch Manager in a leading Brand i.e. Chola
2. A Professional Training encompassing over knowledge, Skill and Attitude which helps through out one’s life for career growth
3. Post Graduate Diploma from most prestigious university, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (called as Manipal University, earlier).

Eligibility
Learner Journey
Course Completion
The Candidate successfully completes the 4 months residential training at Manipal Global Academy of BFSI, Bangalore with learning assessments at regular intervals
Internship and OJT Phase
Joins for 2 months Internship at Chola Offices to get familiarized with Company Departments, Processes etc.
Moves to On-The-Job Training Phase for 6 months in select offices of Chola to have first hand understanding and exposure of market and work area.
Candidates to complete required assessments in both the above phases
Employee
The candidates are awarded a ‘Post Graduate Diploma in General Insurance’ by Manipal Academy of BFSI on successfully completing 12 months of training in all three phases. Post completion, the candidates join Chola company as ‘Assistant Branch Manager’ or other finalised roles.

Initial screening happens through Psychometric Tests
Interview
Suitability of the candidate is finalized based on performance during Interview
Provisional Offer Letter
Finalized candidates are given Provisional Employment Letter by Chola
Batch Joining
Selected candidates on receipt of Provisional Employment Offer can join the next scheduled programme on payment of program fee. They will be communicated on the batch start date.
